Account Settings

The Settings page is where you manage everything about your Stratifyre account — from basic profile information to security, notifications, and connected services. To open Settings, click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the app and select Settings.

The Profile tab lets you manage your basic account information.

Your display name appears in the app header and in any shared content. To change it:

  1. Open Settings > Profile.
  2. Edit the Display Name field.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Your email address is used for login, billing receipts, and alert notifications. To change it:

  1. Open Settings > Profile.
  2. Click Change Email.
  3. Enter your new email address and your current password for confirmation.
  4. Click Confirm. A verification email will be sent to the new address.
  5. Click the link in the verification email to complete the change.

You can upload a profile picture or use a default avatar generated from your initials.

  1. Open Settings > Profile.
  2. Click the avatar image.
  3. Upload a new image (JPG or PNG, max 2 MB).

The Security tab covers password management and two-factor authentication.

  1. Open Settings > Security.
  2. Click Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.
  4. Click Update Password.

Your new password must be at least 12 characters and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring a temporary code from your phone in addition to your password.

To enable 2FA:

  1. Open Settings > Security.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app to confirm.
  5. Save the recovery codes that are displayed. These codes let you access your account if you lose your authenticator device.

To disable 2FA:

  1. Open Settings > Security.
  2. Click Disable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Enter a code from your authenticator app or one of your recovery codes.
  4. Confirm the change.

The Security tab also shows a list of your active login sessions, including the browser, operating system, and approximate location. If you see a session you do not recognize:

  1. Click Revoke next to the suspicious session.
  2. Change your password immediately.
  3. If you have not already enabled 2FA, do so now.

The Notifications tab lets you control how and when Stratifyre contacts you.

You can receive scanner alerts and system notifications through any combination of the following channels:

  • Email — Alerts are sent to your account email address.
  • SMS — Text message alerts to your phone number.
  • Discord — Alerts posted to a Discord channel via webhook.
  • Push Notifications — Browser push notifications when you have the app open.
  • Webhook — HTTP POST requests to a URL you specify, useful for custom integrations.
  • Slack — Alerts posted to a Slack channel.

Email: Email notifications are enabled by default and sent to your account email. You can toggle specific notification types (scanner alerts, backtest completions, billing receipts, product updates) on or off.

SMS:

  1. Click Add Phone Number.
  2. Enter your phone number with country code.
  3. Verify with the code sent via text message.
  4. Choose which notification types to receive via SMS.

Discord:

  1. Click Connect Discord.
  2. Paste the webhook URL from your Discord server (Server Settings > Integrations > Webhooks in Discord).
  3. Send a test message to confirm the connection.

Slack:

  1. Click Connect Slack.
  2. Follow the OAuth flow to authorize Stratifyre in your Slack workspace.
  3. Select the channel where alerts should be posted.
  4. Send a test message to confirm.

Webhook:

  1. Click Add Webhook.
  2. Enter the URL where alerts should be sent.
  3. Optionally add a secret token for verifying request authenticity.
  4. Send a test payload to confirm.

You can independently control notifications for:

  • Scanner alerts — When a scanner condition is triggered.
  • Backtest completions — When a backtest run finishes.
  • System alerts — Maintenance windows, outages, or important platform updates.
  • Billing events — Payment confirmations, failed charges, subscription changes.
  • Product updates — New features, changelog entries, and tips.

Each type can be enabled or disabled per channel, so you might choose to receive scanner alerts via Discord and SMS but billing events only via email.
